Poor in-call sound quality

I've just 'upgraded' to an S21 from an S10e and the in-call audio quality is terrible.  Basically the sound is muffled and slightly distorted.  This happens on Wifi calling and normal calling. 

Has anybody else experienced this?

I have exactly the same problem with my S21 with the audio at the other end fading in & out and its driving me crazy. I've had Samsung repair look at it twice with no success and even upgraded to a new sim card to try and eliminate that option as well but nothing. I really want an answer to this problem as well.

Same here, the other side complains about call audio sounding distorted and cutting in and out - please advise a fix!

Yes and it's driving me mad. My old S7 worked better. 

What I don't understand is why the call starts off crystal clear but within minutes it can be completely scrambled. I can't distinguish what the caller is saying at all. So frustrating when talking to an advisor or receiving instruction.  The caller must be just as frustrated because they usually say they can hear me just fine although I am constantly asking them to repeat what they say.

I also have a beef with how Samsung seem to want to re-set my password every time I try to sign in to anything Samsung, which makes me think they are putting as many problems as possible in my way to stop me reporting such things.

Me too! I have tried various logical repairs such as changing the sim I changed provider in the end hoping that a different network might work. Besides the sounds fading in and out I find that the  call starts clear and in a few minutes is completely distorted.
