@Caulkhead Hello, I would recommend you to follow these steps:
First -forced reboot of the phone: hold down the volume buttons- and Power button for about 10 sec, until reboot. Check.
2.Clear cache and data of Samsung Keyboard app.Please check.
3. Reset all settings, from Settings / General management / Reset. You don't lose personal data, but you have to reconfigure app settings. Try.
4. Finally-Reset to factory settings, but I think you will not get there, before it would be resolved. Greetings.
