Unless you have a need to manually select network types, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

If you do need to do that, you can use a debug menu to manually tweak connection settings.

The easiest way I've found to do that is an app called "force lte". The correct way is entering a code into the phone app but I can't remember the code, that app has a button to open it for you. You will need to know the technical names for cell connection types though

Hi
If the network mode option is greyed out on a Samsung phone, it usually indicates a problem with the device's connection to the network or a setting that's preventing access.

Troubleshooting steps include checking your SIM card, ensuring Airplane Mode is off, and verifying your phone's network settings, including automatic network selection. If the issue persists, contacting your network carrier or Samsung support may be necessary

Are you by any chance american?

"Mobile network diagnostics" isn't something that's usually on samsung devices. So I have a feeling you might have an american phone with customised software that's restricting your network mode settings
