I know this question has been asked in the past but I'm wondering if there has been any update on it.
My S21 Ultra is new and it is giving me endless problems trying to connect to mobile data. I don't think it's a signal problem in my area. I had no trouble with my last phone (an S20).
The problem is not always predictable but generally it's worse when I don't have a four bar signal. Sometimes, even when I do, it won't connect. I've tried all the usual things to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated as I spend lots of time outdoors, in the local countryside and I need Internet on my phone.

Is your phone bought directly from Samsung or a carrier in your country?
Some third party shops , websites can sell phones from different countries which could have an effect on network quality.
You could always manually re add your mobile settings from your older phone or ask your carrier to send new ones.
Also at home if your carrier supports WiFi calling you could take advantage of that. Check their forums.
Hope the above helps.

Actually this is a US phone. I noticed that when trying to fill in a form. It asked me for a zip code and would not accept the UK post code. I managed to get round that. AFAIK I'm not having any problems making calls. Is there any way round this?
(I have actually sold my previous phone.)

As far as I know, US phones normally have different bands than other countries. Even their modems are different, I believe.
I am not very knowledgeable on how to help you.
Maybe someone else will pitch in.
If you are a bit tech savvy yourself.
Check out XDA forums. People are more techy over there.
Not sure how active they are since it's an old phone now.
Worse case scenario. Samsung in the UK have some really good trade in deals ATM.
