Is anyone else's phone internal storage showing a high amount of useage in the "other" category? Mine is showing 71.57GB, it seems really high and I'm not sure what could be taking it up, any help would be appreciated

Other is a bit confusing. In a nutshell it is app data so anything to do with a particular third party app is referred to as other eg games data, social media data etc.

I don't know if that helps.
