Forgive if this has been covered before, but I have just bought a new S10+. I have scanned in my fingerprint, but when I try to use it I get the message 'Fingerprint doesnt match!'
I only use the same finger as on my old phone, why isnt it recognised?

Try this:
- register the fingerprint again (as FP 2, 3 etc) but with your finger placed slightly different.
- Under 'Display' in settings turn on 'increase touch sensitivity'.

When I first got the phone I scanned my finger print with some difficulty. Then I put a screen protector on. Fingerprint not recognised. So I deleted it and scanned again. Eventually got 100% . Message now is fingerprint not recognised!
I have now increased touch sensivity. Guess what it will not even scan my print at all FP2. Not even 1%. Messages 'Make sure your finger covers the entire sensor' or 'Press a little harder'!!
For info the screen protector is 9H super hardness. The same as my old HTC which worked fine!

Ooh! Deleted FP1, re-scanned, quite quickly, and it seems to be working now.
For info the protector is full UV adhesive.
