Hello, my S21 ultra and Watch 6 is unable to check for any updates or check update status. It simply fails, even left on the screen, it still fails. Is it time for a new phone or is there something I can do, yes I've done the normal things
It seems that last update was installed on 1st of October which seems fine as you phone only receiving security updates quarterly now and last major OS update was One ui 7 the phone will no longer be supported after January of 2026, so until then you should still be fine, but id suggest on starting looking for a new device.
I've seen this happened few years ago with the s21 ultra models for weird thing changing date and time in settings to "automatic" seemed to helped few.
Other thing you could do is try mobile data, or check with smartswitch on PC like mentioned.
