Facebook file download

When I click "download file" from a group on Facebook, my phone says "file downloaded". But I cannot find that file anywhere. What am I doing wrong?

Does it show on my files app downloads

No it doesn't and I've also looked in sd card downloads.
When I download from other apps such as mail I can find and read them, just not from FB. Thank you for responding.

Is it saving to your DCIM folder?
