Edge Lighting One UI 2.5

On Samsung S9 with One UI 2.5. 

Edge lighting will only work for Samsung Messages App, doesn't even work for any other Samsung stock apps like email.

Have all set to Edge Lighting to Always, all notification settings set on in each app. Always On Display set to on.

Any ideas? Have installed 3rd party app that lights edges but not ideal.

I think that if you go into the edge lighting settings and then select always for "show edge lighting" and select all available apps for "manage notifications" that should solve your problem and you should be able to receive edge lighting from every app

thanks Rishdawg but have tried that & still not working. Not sure if something to do with being app notifications that wouldn't turn screen on
