I don't see why not... If they are not providing a charger basically expecting you to use your old one then your old changer can be whatever you already have?

I don't agree with that. There is so much dangerous junk on EBay. Your old charger would also be a Samsung one.

I agree with @Pugs1957.

you don't have to buy the best charger... but if you don't have already a previous generation Samsung charger, then at least buy something from a reputable company that deals in chargers and batteries.

Companies such as Anker / RavPower have good heritage and knowledge in battery manufacture and charging.

why chance your £1000+ phone with a cheap charger that may not have a good protection circuit.
