Just bought S21 5G, old phone was Sony but had battery overheating. I am finding it very difficult to understand, even though I have a Samsung tablet which works fine, this phone it is so complicated, there is so much I have no use for. At the moment if I take a photo and try to send it to Messenger I just get a white screen with a spinning blue circle in the middle, if while using Messenger I click the photo icon to paste an already stored photo in gallery it does the same. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

Hi
This may be helpful

To send a photo from your Samsung device to Facebook Messenger, you can either take a new photo within the Messenger app or select one from your gallery. You can then edit the photo, customize it with text, drawings, or GIFs, and choose to send it in high definition or set it to "View once".

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

1. Open Messenger and start a chat:

Open the Messenger app and select the person or group you want to send the photo to.

If you're starting a new chat, tap the compose icon and select the recipient.

2. Choose your photo:

Option 1: Take a new photo: Tap the camera icon within the chat to take a photo directly.

Option 2: Select from gallery: Tap the gallery icon (or similar) to choose a photo from your device's storage.

3. Edit and customize (optional):

You can add text, drawings, or GIFs to your photo before sending.

You can also choose to send the photo in high definition or enable the "View once" option.

4. Send the photo:

Tap the send button to share the photo with your recipient.

Troubleshooting:

If you're having trouble sending photos, ensure Messenger has the necessary permissions to access your camera and storage (go to your phone's settings, find the Messenger app, and check the permissions).

You may also want to check your internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular).

Clearing the cache for the Messenger app can sometimes resolve issues

Thank you, but now I think it is sorted, I uninstalled Messenger, then reinstalled it and now it seems to be working. Cross fingers.
