Can anyone tell me how to change the photo resolution on the Samsung Galaxy S20+?
I simply cannot find a way to do this! When I search for this I find lots of results showing how very easy it is to do, by just going into the camera, selecting the settings and then choosing a photo resolution. The problem is, whilst that option might've been there in the past, it's not there now! I just cannot find any way to select the resolution for photos I take (and I therefore can't control much space they'll use).
The settings must have changed with a software update, but where are they now? This sort of thing should be easy!

My go around for this problem was to download the "open Camera" app and I am now able to change the default resolution. Was not so bad but Samsung should NOT have taken this option away from us. Because without downloading this app the camera photos and videos where at a high resolution and just taking up more of my memory space.

Thank you! Simple app that does the job. I agree, I have many photos I take that I do not need in high res. It would seem that lower res options would be just common sense. Thanks for the tip.

Totally agree. Samsung has prioritised profits via built in obsolescents (i.e. making ypur phone run out of space faster) versus functionality users want/need. Why else would they take this option away from us. Greedy *****.
