My daughter has just bought a brand new S9 and when airplane mode is enabled, when the screen times out, it doesn't just go off, the phone completely turns off. She has to press the on button at the side and then samsung s9 lights up and it reboots. She got the phone yesterday and she likes to put it on airplane mode at night.
I have an S9+ with no problems and tried to compare our settings, but we can't stop it. It happens every time.
Any assistance would be greatly received.

UPDATE: I've now turned off fingerprint unlock and it doesn't shut down in airplane mode. If I turn it back on again, it does, but this shouldn't happen.
