Earth Day 2024. At Samsung we are working towards greener goals every year! In 2022, 98,826 tons of the plastics used in Samsung's products partly contained recycled resin. It marks a three-fold increase of recycled resin compared to the previous year and is equivalent to 14% of our total plastic use.
By 2030, we aim to incorporate recycled resin to some extent in 50% of the plastics used in our products. By 2050, the goal is 100%. But it does not stop there. Through product development and innovation, we want to assist our consumers in contributing to plastic reduction.
