Tutorial. Hyperlapses are those cool videos and images where you see stripes of lights forming shapes. They look advanced, but our community members have put our device to test, and shares how to best take hyperlapse videos with your Samsung device.

Follow these tips and tricks:

1) Choose the right time. So-called blue hour (one hour after sunset) with evening traffic is great.

2) Find a good place to shoot. Find a place with a nice view and with good traffic flow. Central squares or roads with congestion are always good.

3) Use the right settings. Open the camera app and use:

  • Select More, then press Hyperlapse
  • In top right corner, select speed
  • For night hyperlapses, select the 15x or 45x night mode (symbol with a crescent moon)
  • Choose the best camera angle (0,6x, 1x or 3x)

4) You are all set. Click record!
