The wait is finally over! After all the months of speculation and rumours, we can finally reveal our latest range of smartphones and tablets, launched at Galaxy Unpacked on 9 February. The event was livestreamed around the world and gave viewers their first glimpse of Samsung’s hottest new devices.
Introducing the Galaxy S22 series – the S22 Ultra, the S22+, and the S22 – and the Galaxy Tab S8 series – the Tab S8 Ultra, the Tab S8+, and the Tab S8!
Let’s start with the Galaxy S22 Ultra . This is our first ever S Series smartphone with a built-in S Pen, with reduced latency and improved handwriting recognition. But that’s not the only thing that’s new. The S22 Ultra’s Pro Grade Camera will help you turn ordinary moments into exceptional ones, with multiple lenses, including a 108MP wide-angle camera, that will set the new standard for smartphone cameras. And you’ll be able to see every detail on the screen, even on the brightest day, thanks to the S22 Ultra’s dynamic AMOLED 2x display and vision booster. This is the Epic Standard.
On the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 , we want to introduce you to Nightography. After all, the best things happen after dark, so of course you want to capture the moment. When your camera detects that you’re taking a photo in the dark, the Big Pixel Sensor kicks into action, enlarging pixels to pull in more light, making your photo brighter. All of this means that you’ll be able to take night-time photos that come out as clear as day.
The Galaxy S22 series’ internal components contain a percentage of recycled plastic removed from the ocean. This means that our flagship smartphones are helping to clean up the planet.
The Galaxy Tab S8 series is a huge step forward for tablets. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is the new epic standard for tablets. Its 14.6-inch Super AMOLED is the largest, slimmest display of any Galaxy Tab to date. Its dual front camera has an amazing field of view that provides 4K video recording. And thanks to its enhanced microphone technology, you’ll be able to video chat with your friends and family much more easily.
With the Galaxy Tab S8+ and the Galaxy Tab S8 , you’ll be able to take notes, draw, edit videos or simply doodle with ease, thanks to the S Pen. Once you’ve finished, the S Pen magnetically snaps to the back of the Tab S8 Series to charge. The Tab S8 series has improved integration with Microsoft products, which means that you can work easily across multiple devices.
All of the devices launched at Galaxy Unpacked 2022 come with One UI 4, the latest version of Samsung’s user interface. One UI 4 provides greater customisation options, more security, and even easier access.
