Which VPNs work in Secure Folder?

I use TorGuard but after the recent Samsung update to Android 13 and the OneUI upgrade, TorGuard won't work in the Secure Folder.

I have contacted TorGuard and they said they are going to fix it.

But until then, which VPN can I use inside Secure Folder?

I just want my ISP / mobile network to not see my browsing activity for privacy (nothing illegal).

Can anyone recommend a cheap VPN that works in Secure Folder?

I've heard the Wireguard app might work. Is this the same as a VPN?

Thanks!

You can use Adguard for this.

It seems all VPN applications are blocked at Knox level, maybe because it may use "root" privileges to establish the VPN channel. If this is the reason, I guess the system architect missed an important detail... A "sudo" approach could solve that...

Anyway... Samsung should co-work with VPN providers to allow this.

As a Secure Folder user, I want to run a VPN application to protect the navigation and network data. I understand Knox protect my data, and I have some applications running inside Secure Folder just because of that, however I need to make sure the data exchanged between my device and the target server is also protected.

I hope Samsung engineers read this post and consider to review this silly restriction.
