TADownloader taking update that disables audio notifications on Verizon plus messenger

TADownloader keeps trying to take a biometric update and when you take it because the notification cannot be bypassed your audio notification for Verizon message plus (and any other message app) goes away. Won't come back unless you nuke the phone. Changing apps works initially but will stop.  VERY ANNOYING....Yes we have checked all permissions for ringing and changing tones etc. You should at least have an option NOT to take an update Samsung!!!!!
