Syncing desktop Outlook calendar with Galaxy phone

I have long used desktop Outlook and Samsung Galaxy S phones of many generations. I recall a Samsung PC app that allowed me to sync my desktop Outlook contacts and calendar with my phone. Please note I am not talking about M365, Outlook.com or other SaaS, I am talking about local desktop Outlook with a local calendar, syncing with the phone.

We now have DeX, and while it is 'interesting' to show a phone desktop on my laptop screen, it's 'sharing' seem limited to photos and doesn't do a lot more than exploring by Windows Explorer!

Maybe my memory is off ... maybe it wasn't anything from Samsung. I know of/have installed on my phone, 'Offline Contacts Sync', but haven't used that in ages.

Does anyone know of a way to sync calendar and optionally contacts, between local desktop Outlook and my Galaxy phone? I am looking for desktop to phone transfers, not via Google Calendar or other SaaS.

Hi and welcome, for 10 years I have remained using MyPhoneExplorer, it is free, functional, just works with no drama.

Oooo ... started to play, and this is looking good, very very good. Beyond my wildest dreams. This isn't just going to sync my calendar, but I can get to grips with contacts and even use the phone via the laptop. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a quite brilliant insight. Surprised something so good has escaped my attention for so long, but thank you for your help. Immensely helpful ❤️

Lol yes forgot to say you can float your phone on your laptop screen, like easier mirroring and sync SMS, files allot of stuff.
