I have seen the instructions for turning off the noise Facebook makes when liking a post, but my Facebook is missing the "Media and Sounds" section of the settings menu. Installed an update, but was still the same.

Did you find a solution? I've the same problem. The sounds are so annoying! Reported to Facebook, waiting for their answer.
