Samsung's recent One UI 7.1 update (April 2025) changed all notifications apps on the system

On April 24, 2025, my Galaxy S24 updated automatically. After the update, all my app notifications changed to the system default notification sound. I went to Notification Advanced Settings and turned on Manage Notification Categories for each app. Then I went into the Ring app notifications (the most common one I use), but it does not give me the option to change the notification sound to the Ring app sound or any other. I have tried adjusting notifications for different apps as well, but I still have no luck. Samsung's recent One UI 7.1 update (April 2025) changed how notifications are handled and its not helpful. Please help.

Mine stayed the same, but here's an example on the calendar of how to change the ringtone.

Biggest bullshit update they did was to make all the apps on one page where you have to. Scroll all the way down to get an app when not on the home screen...
Is there a way to take it back it used to be....

Click on the three dots at the bottom search and choose custom for the horizontal scroll. You loose the alphabetical options for apps though.

I absolutely hate this update!  All of my app folders have been arranged in a 5x5 grid for the last 15 years, now it forces me to 6 columns.  More importantly, the sound is now HORRIBLE!  The speakers on my Galaxy Z-fold are great speakers.  The sound is now hollow and empty.  This is infuriating.  I am beginning to hate big tech with a passion!

Worst update yet! Why are my favorites under "recently added" in my contacts when the "recently added" are phone numbers that have been stored in my phone for years? Shouldn't favorite be easily accessible? Why do I have to pull down the drop screen by the battery percentage to view one thing, and pull it down by the time to view my actual notifications? Why is my battery going from 100% to 60% in an hour when all I'm doing is talking on the phone?
