Normally when I walk, my watch automatically detects that I am working out after about 10 minutes and starts tracking the work out. It counts the steps towards my daily total steps in Samsung Health. This morning, however, I noticed that even though my workout indicated I took 7700 steps my watch only displayed the steps I took afterwards (around 250). How do I prompt Samsung to count the steps I took during the automated workout to my daily step total?

I've cleared cache and cleared data and the problem persists. It worked fine for years but hasn't worked since August 2023. I have a Note 9.Any ideas on what to try next?

Hi,
Try Below
Clear the cache(temporary files which may cause a bugs) of the Samsung Health through Settings> Apps> Samsung Health> Storage> Clear cache.
If the issue still persist, choose the ''Clear data''.
