I've been using my active watch to do the 5k programme in the health app and have a pretty consistent route set which always measures around 4km. Last week my watch battery was to low to complete the workout so I tracked from the app in the phone instead. Same route as before, distance covered 5.67km. Google fit is always measuring my distances as different to the watch, so is the watch inaccurate or is the phone app not good at measuring distance? I roughly measured the route using Google maps and that cones back as 4.5km so I have no idea how far I'm running. Is there an accurate way of finding out or should I just believe my devices and which one?
