S20 Home Screen - How to Delete Empty Screens

Adding to the list of things that used to work but don't now:

At one time (I'm not sure how long ago - a few months) if a second or third home screen was created accidentally when manipulating icons it was possible to delete the extra screens once they were empty. Apparently not so now with Android 11.

A small niggle, nevertheless annoying. Why can't developers leave well alone?

Does anyone have a solution please?Home Screen with empty extra screensHome Screen with empty extra screens

Long press on an empty part of screen ( might need to press firmly ) - should then show all the screens in a smaller format - scroll along to the empty screen and should be a delete option at the top of it

Not sure if User Enhancement Requests are possible, or listened to by Samsung, however, as someone who likes just One Home Screen but puts all my Apps in Folders on that screen, I am forever deleting empty additional Hone Screens.. It would be nice, seeing as Samsung can add them automatically,  they could automatically remove empty ones! Please 🙏
