Quick Share stuck on “Pending” between Samsung phone and tablet – no longer working

I’m having an ongoing issue with Quick Share that has suddenly stopped working between my Samsung phone and Samsung tablet.

Previously, Quick Share worked perfectly between the two devices. Now, when I try to send anything, it just sits on “Pending” indefinitely and never completes.

What I’ve already tried (multiple times):

Restarted both devices

Turned Quick Share off and back on

Checked both devices are signed into the same Samsung account

Verified Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are on

Cleared cache/data where applicable

Checked permissions

Updated both devices to the latest software

Reset network settings

Nothing has fixed it.

Samsung Support have already advised me to post this on the public forum, as they’re “looking into it”, but at the moment Quick Share is completely unusable between my own devices.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue, or has found a fix?

At this point it feels like a software bug rather than a settings issue

I had something similar occurring between a S25 Ultra and another Android phone. I don't know why, but the connection was no longer working. What I did was re-pair both phones to keep sending files the easiest way.

Before re-pairing of the phones, I changed the receiving phone to accept connections from all phones (for 10 minutes) and then a new icon appeared in Quick Share of the sending phone.

I never tried to use the functionality of the same Samsung account to share between the S25U and the TabS7+, since pairing the two works flawlessly.
