I have 2 questions relating to this app and primarily how it operated in August 2023 as opposed to now as I know it has changed slightly and is now part of Quickshare, although i imagine the core functionality remains the same.
Question 1 - has it ever been possible during the history of the feature for the recipient to download files recieved? I know that the app sends files in read only mode, but has there been an option for senders to change permissions so that recipients can download the files?
Question 2 - does the app link with Google accounts and send any files through / via the Google account you're logged in on? The reason I ask is that when making changes on my phone recently and removing a Google account, it flagged that the Private Share app was associated with that Google account which has caused some alarm as I wouldn't want the files i transferred being in the cloud
In my mind it wouldn't make sense for google to be involved and sonimagine it's nothing, but any advice on the above would be appreciated.
