Photo editor snapping to size issues

The default photo editor on Samsung has an extremely irritating feature - when you are cropping an image the editor forces the image to snap to pre-set ratios equivalent to the size of a smartphone screen, for example. But I want to choose the size of my photos for myself. How do I turn off this stupid feature?

I agree this feauture is extremely irritating.  It should be able to be disabled

Posting because I have the same issue and holy ***** is it annoying!! Especially when I take a screenshot and try to crop it. I get 1 or 2 sides where I want them to be, then I go to the next one and it completely resizes itself and changes what's in the frame

SAME HERE!!   It's infuriating!   It's nice to know I'm not the only one who struggles with these little rarely discussed/often overlooked features that Samsung sprinkles throughout its devices!
