One UI 6.1 issue with photo editing and the stickers function removing backgrounds

Good evening,

Ive seen a lot of negative posts re the latest One UI 6.1 update, and in general I haven't had any major issues...

But, I have noticed that within the photo album section editing photos function I can no longer create a 'sticker' using one of my own images to add to another image without it doing some kind of background removal.  This has become very frustrating.  I have usrd that function for years to generate images for class work within school.  

Has anybody else experienced this or have a 'workaround' so I can get back to creating images for my class.

Truly hoping that this function is put back to how it was before the 6.1 update as it was ideal for piecing images together for our classwork topics

I have the same problem and its something i need to have control of 100% of time i use this app, this needs to be removed or have an on off toggle
