Why doesn't Google play store and the galaxy store tell u when u need to update apps ?????

Do you have notifications turned on for Play Store?

You might have auto update set, do when an update is released it auto updates without notification

I don't have auto updates, but I have the app updates notifications turned off. To switch them on you'll need to go into the Play Store app, tap on your profile the top right, choose Settings, General, Notifications, then toggle on 'Updates Available'.
