My folders keep disappering

My Samsung S22 Ultra keeps erasing some folders on my Gallery albums page. Some folders i've kept for a while with images, screenshots for future refferal, and then they are completely gone! Some are important payment receipts. Even when i press "show all"...they are gone. Is there a limit to the folders?

Do you sometimes manually delete pictures from those folders? For instance, the screenshot folder will disappear if you delete all the screenshot pictures inside it. Also, be mindful, If you're syncing to OneDrive and you delete a picture there, then it deletes the picture in Gallery too.

Thanks for the reply. I do delete a pic or two every now & then, but often entire folders disappear. Is it connected tp Google Photos App?

Could be. If you completely empty a folder, then yes, that folder would disappear until such time when you take another screenshot etc
