Hello peeps, been playing around with Lockstar and other Goodlock goodies on the S25FE and struggling with getting some widgets to work, specifically Hive and Kasa.

Hive just won't refresh and need to enter the app each time which defeats the whole point on the lockscreen. Kasa looks fine but press away and nothing happens.

All permissions are OK or is the issue such apps just do not work with the lockscreen, I did try with and without a PIN.

And widgets work fine on home screen i assume. I would suspect then issue is with lock screen compatibility. Ideally to be looked at and resolved by developers on either side

Shame this is where most apps if not all fail, to keep up with their APIs, British Gas Hive is the worst, just assumed if the homescreen widget worked so would the lockscreen.

Back to my basic clock lockscreen 🙏

I don't get why people put widgets on the lock screen, as I tried but when clicking on the widget you still need to unlock the phone ie fingerprint or lock code i just don't see any point in this at all
