Hi all

So when I connect to my home server using smb share via the Myfiles app, I'm not getting image previews, see the attached screen grab. This is making it difficult to select which picture I would like to view.

It seems to be an app issue as I can use a third party app such as fe file explorer and this works perfectly fine but ideally I'd like for the MyFiles app to be able to do this so I don't have multiple file explorers running at the same time.

It's 2023, same issue here. Please fix it, I have a shared folder with 300+ GB worth of photos and videos, I cannot download them all just to be able to look at them.

Any updates on this, I have tons of photos on network storage.  Without preview, it is impossible to use this app to view them.

they dont give a toss m8, if they did they would respond... this is quite deliberate, you see you misunderstand your relationship with samsung... you are not their customer... you are the product.. this behavior of the my files app is exactly what they intend.. if you could just make a nas and use that then your less likely to buy a cloud subscription of some sort, thats why when you try to attach a file to send to somebody they hide the network folder(you literally have to open the app separately, copy all the files you want to send to your phone, then you can attach them to a message or email or something) see samsung has way more to gain by pushing the bulk of their users through their data scraping services than they will ever gain by actually doing things the customer wants it to
