How to revert one ui 7 stupid ui changes.

Hi, the one ui 7 is a completely disaster in terms of ui/ux experience. So many things done wrong, untested or dont giving a ***** to users feelings.

The icon close to the clock with playing song is just terrible, you press it and it opens the regular media app notification but you cannot swipe it left or right to remove it. You cannot remove that info that nobody wants to have that small space on the top bar  occupied with another "area totally useless" song name is not visible neither it scrolls and its not important to have it there  if i wanted i scrolled.

The lock screen has a stupid media area on Boton beetween phone and camera icons. Whou thought that was a great idea? When driving its more buttos and actions just to change music.

The apps search bar. It was nice on top now you have to teach millions of brains who add their memory programed to touch the search on top and have the search response near. Now with one hand is more difficult to touch on bottom type the search and go back up to tap the app. Also have a setting to put search on top is a must.

The apps list is now vertical? Why? Why cant i have my list horizontal with alphabetical order?

The one ui 7 looks like it is in beta or alpha. Ao many things wrong.

I will soon flash one ui 6 and have thins working nice and smooth. One ui 7 f... samsung

It absolutely sucks!!! Games just close down randomly and the system ui closes all apps, don't even know why, arrrggghhh

This new update is making me desperate to switch back to the 2008 flip phone I got when I was 6 (samsung Gravity sgh-t459) because it won't have any STUPID UPDATES!!!!!! (I am also neurodivergent and fully agree with you Nyx-G, because wth is this abomination of a UI, I wonder if I could sue samsung for forcing these updates that remove useful features and replace it with AI, if I wanted ai I would download chat GPT, not use my phone as intended, get out of here One ui 7, and WHY IS MY HOME SCREEN BIGGER!? MY APPS AREN'T EVEN ORGANIZED ANYMORE ÒWÓ!!!!

OMG, this has been a disaster since updating my S22 to One Ui 7Andriod 15. My phone keeps shutting down and restarting.. apps are shutting down unable to open, freezing. Tried clearing the cache with no luck. Now wishing I'd never have updated. 😤😡. Anyone got any idea how to sort please

This is seriously a ***** update, and ruins many new phones at once. Think I will consider another brand for my next one since Samsung doesn't seem to care for its customers.

Clearly, you have adopted a very Apple-esque attitude to your users. So you have caused your users, a need to spend hours searching for every update induced bug, dark modes, where the update cannot be reversed and you have changed the user interface without at least a user guide or an explanation.
I would expect an apology.
I am going back to my old phone, where I still have developer mode set and restrict updates. Until you sort the unholy mess out.
My advice to anyone with difficulties caused by Samsung's lack of engagement. Is to complain and complain, and if that doesn't work out, there are other phones in the market. Though, as always, remember, trust no one!

I'm with you. They've forced recents in file explorer. It used to be you could completely disable it. Now if you head to setting/system/apps you can untick "recents" but that just moves it from being displayed on the main page to being displayed under the "recent" tab. The "recents" checkbox in the apps actual settings menu is greyed out and unchangeable so you cannot untick it. Certainly sounds "customizable" to me. :sarcastic eye roll:

That open apps thing is a mess too. If you're in an app and tap the open apps button THE POS WILL AUTOMATICALLY MOVE THE APP TO A NEW DESKTOP WITH NO WAY TO MOVE IT OUT THE NEW DESKTOP SHORT OF CLOSING THE APP AND REOPENING IT! So much intuitive one tap functions now have all sorts of extra taps/steps needed. It's certainly not more efficient of fast. It slows you down. I also HATE how file explorer now adds panes side by side as you open folders completely shrinking visibility when trying to manage files and im on a tab s9 so I can just imagine how much WORSE this would be on a phone.  Instead of the folder you're navigating to being one big full screen its now one bs column with two other columns of the previous file trees to the left. Terrible. Tempted to break root with Odin to flash this entire os back to stock and then never update again. What garbage. Turned an awesome 1200 dollar device into a pain in the butt nuisance that takes longer to tap through tasks and limits your control while claiming to be "the most customizable". If it was customizable options wouldn't be greyed out and untickable in order to force things like "recents" and if i so chose, id be able to disable things like the nonsense with multiple desktops and apps being moved to them arbitrarily without me directing them to be moved, with no way to move them back out. What a nightmare!!! Samsung gallery is a nuisance too. Not sure if it's from this update as i hadn't used it for a while until after the update but when youre swiping left and right through photos if you move your finger upwards or downwards in the slightest the app swipes down or up AND CLOSES!! Same issue if you're trying to pinch zoom and move one finger a little more than the other.... BOOM!! GALLERY SWIPES OFF THE SCREEN AND CLOSES!! I EVEN DISABLED GESTURES IN SETTINGS AND THE SWIPE UP/DOWN STILL CLOSES OUT GALLERY!! Im extremely angry that I gave them 1300 dollars and THIS is what I end up having to work with thanks to their stupid update.
