Hotspot or tethering

Hai guys . There is showing around 5 gb downloaded by tethering. I didn't download or transfer anything by using tethering and I could not find any files . Anyone know how to find out what's this 5gb ? That too happened in background 🤯

Hi sometime's our phones send and receive data that our phones need to run safe and smooth but yes that does seem a lot and shouldn't be through your hotspot have you searched for Hiden files/folders or downloads folder that may be hidden?

May just be data info for your network settings and it does have android symbol ?.🫡

Interesting i used to tether but haven't since I got a 5G laptop, so surprised to see 0.8GB

You must be connected to something that's using your data. Have you got it toggled on in the settings. I don't and idon't share my connection.

Just doubled checked mine all off.

Wondering if devices using WIFI Direct count ... Wireless Android Auto, screen mirroring, quick share, etc...
