I do not use Facebook nor have I ever. One of the first things I did upon opening my phone for the first time was disabling it as I never intend to use it and despise Meta as a company. However, after a year of ownership for 3 days running every time I have turned my phone on in the morning to check my messages the app Facebook has reappeared after repeated disabling in my apps menu. I find this incredibly irritating and adding to a clock issue I previously posted about, grating.

If anyone can help, please:
- Why does it keep appearing?
- If I can, how do I delete it permanently?
- If I can't ^ how do I disable it permanently as it keeps reappearing.

I apologise if I missed something obvious I don't really have the time, patience or sanity for my phone randomly deciding actually I want Facebook atm.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Phone is Galaxy S20+

If you touch and hold the app. You should get a box open with some options
One of those should be uninstall. That's what I did and remove the app altogether

Why don't you just uninstall it instead of just disabling it?

Uninstall the Facebook, in case if it was installed again disable these apps in the image.

You can find them by tapping that icon next to Your apps text.

(If you have Android 11 or older, instead of Meta, search for Facebook.)

There is no uninstall option, only the option to "Disable"

It does not allow me to uninstall it from the device. For some reason it came preloaded like Bixby and various other junk.

Thanks! This seems to work for now. I'd like to uninstall it permanently in the future, would you have any idea how?
