Extending duration of ringtone leads to no callminder!

So, I have extended the ringtone duration of my phones to 30 secs by keying:

**61*101**30#

and pressing Send.

Did this with new Samsung A41 and now it rings indefinitely, with a brief pause every 30 secs.

Hence, the callminder has been effectively disabled.

i would personally call the service provider.. Ee, O2 etc and ask them to reset it for you .... explaining what you did ... i hope that helps

Thats odd I have always extended the ringtone period to 30 seconds using the same code on all my Galaxy phones for the last 8 years and never had this problem. Have you tried altering the period to 25 seconds to see if the issue goes away or not?

I have just asked Google apparently each service supplier has a slightly different code to use. So i would check with your provider. I am with Vodafone and the code is different by 2 characters.
