I desperately needed pdf printing. My only option was to agree to a 7 day free trial of the samsung version. I now want to cancel but find no details ? Have I been scammed?

Did you downloaded app from Galaxy store? Then go Menu>Subscriptions in app and it should be there

If that's Acrobat for Samsung, open app>right top corner on your account> subscriptions
