Control of Dual-SIM & SIM on/off using Bixby Routines

It would be good to be able to control the switching on and off of SIM cards using Bixby Routines. People may have multiple SIM cards and want to keep some of them on only at certain times of the day, and so the ability to turn them on at a specific location or time of the day would be a great feature to add.

Still jo luck:( Samsung? I also need this. I run 2 different sims in my z fold 5. My primary sim which I also use for dala does get any signal at my work. My second sim works great. I need an automation that would switch to mobile data from sim 2, when I am at my work location. Now I have to switch it on manually every day.

You don't need "Control of Dual-SIM & SIM on/off using Bixby Routines to achieve your goal", Samsung galaxies can switch data SIM automatically based on network availability. Galaxy phones have this capability a long time ago.

The setting path for this functionality in my Galaxy S21+
Settings->Connections->SIM manager->activate "Data switching and backup calling"

but I don't know if Samsung removed it from Galaxy Z fold 5.

its not about automatic switch the mobile data on signal lost.

we want to disable(!) SIM2 with routines 🙂

that doesn't help, e.g. for me sim1 is for calls and messages sim2 is for data

i need sim2 a couple times a week and i need a routine to:  turn sim2 ON + mobile data ON,  and when i turn off the routine:  mobile data OFF, sim2 OFF

Didn't you see " In response to Thelycandraven" at the top of my reply!? my reply was to that specific post not to the whole thread. I know the functionality I described matches exactly his need because I am using it also and it works perfectly.

being able to switch to SIM 2 for mobile data based on location is the only feature I need routines for. the routines is cluttered with features you never need, but somehow this actually useful feature has been ignored for 4 years.

It would be greatly appreciated if this feature could be implemented. I understand that this thread has been open for four years (!), and I would be grateful for any update on the status of this request. If there are any reasons why this feature cannot be implemented, a statement to that would be sufficient to close this topic.
