Cleaning Apps

I do use Good Guardians but 2 years ago paid a subscription for CCleaner, was Samsung Google vouchers to use.

Wondering what cleaning type apps other use or do not, plus thoughts on pros and cons.

Tried the free cCleaner but got fed up of the ads. Is the paid version any good? Currently I don't use any, other than the built in one, and the cleaner as part of Google Files.

I lost a lot of photos using CCleaner I would be careful all I use is device care memory

Thanks, I liked the Pro version, but recall they had allot bad press due to hacking.

On monthly basis it cleared out GB worth of temp files.

This morning I used the file manage storage version, didn't do much for device storage but helped with 79GB of One Drive duplicates.

I thought there used to be a setting menu for memory cleaning...

I just use Device care/Good Guardians and periodically Files by  Google.  I did use cCleaner in the past on computer but not on the phone, think you need to be careful with some third party apps.
