Call and text on other devices with two phones

hi i have an s24ultra and an a05s, my s24u is my main phone, and when i try to use call and text on othet devices across both devices, each one tries to be the main phone and wont allow the other, so is this feature only for tabs and watches or is there something i am not doing?

"With the Call & text on other devices feature, you can make and receive calls on your tablet as long as it's signed into the same Samsung account as your phone."

It's intended to be used with galaxy tablets.
