I work how to save battery on my phone. Checked videos about battery drain and save battery. Some are saying don't close apps because when you reopen it, it will consume more battery but when I leave it open in background my battery usage shows how much that apps drained battery when I using it and how much data and battery that apps used it in background. Anyone has any idea what is good for battery closing the app or leaving it to constantly refreshing in background?

I dont think it really matters. I personally close them as it keeps the phone running more smoothly. Nothing worse than using a phone where its got a billion apps open and slows down.

But yes the reasoning behind the latter is because closing the app requires them to be reopened when the time comes, which in itself cause increased battery usage

The best advice is to simply restart your device now again to clear ram and keep open the apps you frequently open and then close the apps you rarely use

There used to be apps that force close other apps to try and have optimal battery life. That was a long time ago, not needed now. Your phone automatically handles apps in the background.

For best battery, power saver, dark mode, make sure no apps are using a ton of power.

Power save mode should restrict background usage more than any app could

Have you tried deleting apps you don't use ? Heard it helps ? I did this anyway and phone seems to run more smooth also.

Me too. I delete every app that I don't need. It helps.
