Smart scale voor body composisition met Samsung Health?

Ik ben op zoek naar een slimme weegschaal en bij voorkeur één die ik kan koppelen met de Samsung Health app. Ik heb gekeken in de accessoires en vond daar de Xiaomi Mi Smart Scale 2 erg interessant! Na wat zoeken kwam ik erachter dat de Xiaomi Mi Smart Body Composition Scale 2 die ik aan het bestellen was wezenlijk anders is dan de Xiaomi Mi Smart Scale 2 en niet te koppelen is met  de Samsung Health app! En ik wil juist net een slimme weegschaal die meer meet dan enkel gewicht.

In de lijst met accessoires zie ik bij alle slimme weegschalen staan "Samenhangende tracker: Gewicht" en niet meer dan dat.  Betekent dat dat alle weegschalen enkel gewicht delen met de Samsung Health app?

Als dat zo is, ga ik alsnog de Xiaomi Mi Smart Body Composition Scale 2 bestellen en die dan proberen te koppelen op de volgende manier: Top 3 Samsung Health compatible scales - MyHealthyApple

The only downside is that Xiaomi’s body composition scales are not directly compatible with Samsung Health. 

They are, however, directly compatible with Google Fit. If you’re looking for a scale that connects directly with Samsung Health, see if you can purchase the older Xiaomi Mi Smart 2 scale.

For Xiaomi’s Body composition scales, you needto connect the Mi Fit scale with Google Fit and then Google Fit with Samsung Health.

You have to download the Zepp Life app from Xiaomi from the app store and then give authorization to Samsung Health or Google Fit to collect data from the Xiaomi app.

Now that you have Google Fit syncing with Zepp Life, set up Google Fit to sync with Samsung Health using Google’s Health Connect app.

It’s a bit of an odd trick – but it may be very well worth it.

After all, Zepp Life (formerly Mi Fit) is one of the highest-ever rated Fitness apps, and the Body Composition Scale 2 offers excellent value for what it offers.

I have a Withings Body+ scales (over 2 years of age) and it sends data to Samsung Health via Health Connect.

You can check which scales/apps connect to Health Connect and what data they share.

Thanks! I think this is what is also suggested in the link that I posted. Unfortunate that you cannot connect it directly, but this seems to be the only solution

I think it is a better and cleaner way for apps to connect via a common API (Health Connect) and not have tight coupling with individual apps. Hopefully, more and more apps will connect via the Health Connect Platform.

So, I bought myself this Xiaomi scale. It was possible to connect to the Google Fit/Health Connect by adding the Google account from the app from the scale.

In Google Fit I now see data coming in from the Samsung Health app (steps etc) and from the ZepLife (previously Mi Fit) app. The latter is the weight.

What I am still missing is other data like fat%, muscle % etc to be sent to Google Fit or I cannot find it.

And more important: the data doesn't seem to be shared with Samsung Health. Any idea?

Ik heb de eerste en helaas enige reactie tot nog toe toch weer even niet als oplossing gemarkeerd, want volgens mij werkt het nog niet 100%. En ik ga weer even terug naar het Nederlands.

Zoals te zien in het voorbeeld hieronder wordt het gewicht netjes doorgegeven door de weegschaal via Google Fit. Echter de overige metingen die via de ZepLife app gedaan zijn, zijn niet doorgegeven aan Samsung Health... Misschien zijn ze ook niet doorgegeven aan Google Fit? Ik zou het niet weten, want ik kan het niet checken.

Dan kom/blijf ik toch weer bij mijn oorspronkelijke vraag: Ondanks dat er in het accessoires overzicht staat dat de weegschalen allemaal enkel het gewicht als tracker gebruiken, zijn er weegschalen die de lichaamssamenstelling meten en rechtstreeks verbonden kunnen worden met de Samsung Health app?

Via zoekmachines kan je ook vergelijking websites vinden, die verschillende slimme weegschalen met elkaar vergelijken en de compatibiliteit testen met Samsung Health. Hopelijk kom je er zo uit om de beste weegschaal te vinden. Laat weten of het lukt.

In de Health app is te vinden welke weegschalen compatibel zijn met de Samsung Health app. Echter, wat ik er niet vind is welke weegschalen dan ook de complete lichaamssamenstelling meten en delen met de Samsung Health app

Ik heb er maar gewoon weer één besteld. Zie wel of deze het wel doet. Een Yunmai X dit keer. Op de site van Yunmai geven ze zelf aan, dat de X en de Pro compatible zijn met Samsung Health.

Ik vind het wel teleurstellend, dat dit zo lastig is. Dat er niet gewoon een lijstje op te hoesten is van weegschalen die de hele lichaamssamenstelling delen. En ik krijg bijna het gevoel dat ik de enige ben die dit graag wil.
