I just upgraded to the Galaxy S25 ultra and I cannot for the life of me get Android Auto to connect to my vehicle.
My prior S23 Ultra "just worked", literally plug and play. I'm using the same cable that works with my old phone but tried new ones anyway with no luck. Yes I'm using the correct port on the car side.
The problem I seem to be having is the phone confirms it's connected via Android auto and confirms that it is on fact connected to the car as "S25 Ultra" which all looks good, but once the vehicle side identifies the AA connection, it says "please check your phone for next steps", but the phone thinks it's fully connected already so nothing ever comes up on the phone. I'm stuck in that loop and AA does not work at all (greyed out on car side). The car is looking for some kind of final confirmation or input from the phone side, but the phone is reporting itself as successfully connected.

Done, but I found a subreddit devoted to this subject. This is clearly happening with most S25's.
Solutions are uninstalling updates of AA, clearing cache and re-installing AA. Google is a great help!

I have the same issue and the phone is already released. It says something like that I have to check my phone if I don't have to accept or confirm something but everything is ready..

I have exactly the same problem.

Hi, same problem with the Samsung S25 as well. Tried it in two different cars with three different USB a-c cables: same problem. It looks like it is connected but I cannot operate the phone from the car. It does charge by the way, but nothing else???
Samsung: what is up? How can this be solved?

To be complete: Android Auto on the phone is fully updated.

Thank you for your feedback about this @Eric37,
Via the Samsung Members-app you can also send in an error report to my colleagues of the R&D department. They can investigate this and when this can be resolved by an update this will be rolled out as soon as possible.
Feel free to keep let us know if you succeeded submitting the report.
With kind regards,
Ajay
