what washing cycle have you selected , and what is the model number of your washing machine , all samsungs have sensors in to detect weight, and then there are some top range samsung's I think that have an extra sensor and empty a bit of water at the end of the wash and check how clear the water is, and if its not clear (IE still has detergent in it) then it can tell the washing machine to perform extra rinse(s) if its on a special wash cycle
