Hi,

Wondering if anyone is having this issue.

We have the Series 5+ WW90T554DAN/S1 with AddWash™ 9kg Washing Machine

Works as normal when using the machine controls. However on the smart things app after the last update, it doesn’t choose the option you select. For example I selected the cotton wash with 5 rinses. It senses the load and then changes it to 2 rinses instead.

Anyone having this issue?

Thank you.

yes I have the WW90T534DAW and it does that with me on the cotton wash, some other wash cycles too - seems to happen on cycles where it weigh's the clothes before it washes for a few seconds.
I gues its measuring how full the drum is and if its not full up enough just cutting down the rinses to save water  if it deems you dont need that many rinses and save total time of how long to complete a wash cycle.

What you could try as a workaround is if you really want 5 rinses is let it weigh the items in the drum and then goes down to 2 rinses is press the rinse button and get it back up to 5 rinses again, that should work, as long as you do it immediately straight after its weighed the clothes - do it any later or near to the end of the wash part and it may not let you manually change the amount of rinses.

Thanks for the reply, I’ll give that a try

it happens even with a full load. It’s weird. It’s only started doing this and only does it when using the app. If I use the controls on the machine it works normal.

ah right I hardly use the app - it has done this before with me even when programming on the machine itself . I set 3 rinses and after it weighed the washing it reduced it to 2 rinses automatically.

I came on to try and find the answer too! Mine does it on Manual or the App. I like 3 rinses to make sure the detergent is all out as I can get itchy skin with some Detergents, but it changes to 2 spins most times.
