Warming Drawer Colour Difference

Hi. I was sold on the idea of the warming drawer being something that was not only useful, but also something that would blend seamlessly in with the oven above it and the rest of our kitchen, with its black colour theme.

Imagine my disappointment to find that the drawer does not blend in at all.  See the image below. Am I being unreasonable in thinking I want to return the drawer? Against the black of the oven the drawer's washed out grey sticks out like a saw thumb. Could it be a dud unit? Surely they should match???

 I had the same problem and am so disappointed with Samsung and tried to return it but because it was part of a bulk order i had to return all the items, which were all installed and so had to live with the drawer. and what's worse is the first time i used it the door would not close.

I've just learnt to live with the colour difference.

Like you I find it very hard to close the drawer. There's a knack to it. You have to learn exactly the right place to press when you close it.

Luckily, due to the cost of living crisis, we never use the drawer. It was a waste of money in hindsight. 😀
