The Samsung washing machine model WW11BB944DGB features an
Auto Open Door function which is enabled by default and activates automatically at the end of a wash cycle. It does not require a special setup procedure through the control panel.
The door will automatically open slightly after a cycle is complete to improve air circulation and prevent odours.
If the door fails to open automatically and the 'Door Locked' light remains on, ensure no water is left in the drum. You can try running a "Spin Only" cycle to drain any residual water or use the emergency drain hose located near the pump filter at the bottom of the machine.
The "Auto Open Door" function is separate from the "Child Lock" feature. If the child lock is active, it will prevent the door from being opened even after a cycle is complete. To disable the child lock, press and hold the Temp and Rinsebuttons simultaneously for a few seconds until the child lock indicator disappears.
The feature is designed to work seamlessly, so you generally only need to ensure the cycle is finished and any other manual locks (like child lock) are off.
