Cooking green beans my neighbor gave me on my induction stove. I blanch them by heating enough water to cover to a good boil, adding the green beans, cook until soft, about 15 minutes, then draining and placing them in cold water for several minutes. I don't always measure or add time when I cook, so I can go by look, feel and taste testing when appropriate. I'm thinking of making potatoes and green beans with this recipe, probably on my induction stove. I cannot do canning on this stove so I can only cook recipes. I'm looking for ideas for crockpot, instant pot and air fry recipes too. My stove's oven is also my air fryer with convection too. I'm always open to new recipes as I cook for my family and my father is dealing with age related changes with taste, so I'm always trying new things to see what he can enjoy. I've been cooking for 18 years and am looking for healthier things to make as one of us takes blood thinners that requires a consistent balance of greens. My kitchen appliances are Frigidaire and Whirlpool, but if it was up to me, they'd all be Samsungs that connect to my Note 20. I only cook on induction as it's safest for me as I'm disabled.
