SAMSUNG ODYSSEY G7 major issues

Hi,
I am an owner of a 32" Samsung Odyssey G7 and it has many major issues like

1) Flickering when Adaptive Sync on
2) Horizontal scanlines on blue-orange wallpapers and especially in this site my monitor is full with scanlines https://rog.asus.com/wallpapers/
3) Screen turning on and off when HDR on.
4) 10bit color cannot be enabled instead of 8bit because screen turns on/off periodically
5) When a second source is connected screen turns on/off periodically

As i have seen in some technological forums and youtube hardware reviews sites(Australian HARDWARE UNBOXED is one) its a manufacturing problem and this model is faulty for many other users/buyers. Check reddit here https://www.reddit.com/search/?q=samsung%20g7%20issues . There is a latest firmware update that could fix only flickering but does not in all situations. I have tried another 30€ 4k premium cable with no help. It is not of course also a problem with my graphics card as i have a 3060ti and i use 2 monitors and also a 3rd to check it. The other 2 work flawlessly with the graphic card.

Please can you confirm these issues officialy from your technicians as i have a faulty model and wish some resolution with it.Apparently there is a lot of hype with these flaws all over the internet with this model series.

Yeah received mine sat with a vert bar that flashes on the left side of the panel

Absolutely horrendous monitor. Mine had problems within a year of purchase. Now it's 2 months past the warranty...

Flickering, random turnoffs, buttons for menu and poweron functioning as profiles lol, unable to power the monitor on and so on. I will try to have ot fixed or changed either way but if samsung leaves me with this issie knowing it's widespread... this will be my last Samsung monitor purchase ever.

I sent mine in for RMA because of the flickering and gxo repairtech broke it even more than it was , it came back still flickering , but now a major problem with the joystick and dirt inside the screen !! , six times i sent this thing in until eventually they refused to accept it , i did a small claims court application which cost me £70 and they set thier bully expensive solicitors on me and lied about it !!!

this company is morrally bankrupt and disguting and i will never buy anything off them ever ever again , for the rest of my life i will tell anybody who will listen just how scummy they are ! already made three family and people i know change thier purchase desicions and i will never ever stop.  disgusting !

Hi. I've explained in the initial message where you need to go but to be honest, I don't think it works for more than a short period of time (if that). I am still using it successfully but with a different DP cable than the one provided in the box and manually set from the monitor settings to 144hz as others have recommended. It's not ideal since I bought a 240hz monitor, not 144hz, but at least I get to enjoy HDR without any other issues. Hope this helps. Cheers

I have these issues and more sometimes when I turn on my pc it’s stuck at 30 hz until I reset. Works fine with game mode off but then the colours are dull and 120 max hz. Drives me nuts I thought this was a premium monitor I only realized how bad it was when I got a high sense TV, which has none of these issues and looks better.

Trash products , Trash company !! , steer clear of them and tell anybody you care about to do the same .
