Hi, my model is lc34g55twwnxza, 34´
it has been impossible to play on Xbox Series X at 1440p and 120Hz.
I have the HDMI that comes with xbox but when I want to select FreeSync it appears disabled on the Samsung panel
On xbox if I select 1440p it goes down to 60Hz, if I select 120Hz the resolution goes down to 1080p.
I have searched a lot of information on the internet but nothing has worked for me

Hi @Pablo_40
I got this answer from our monitor techs:
"I'm not sure the F/W version of 34" G55T but it is worthy to update latest F/W version. Check if the latest version can solve the issue.
Very Curious information is that Screen size is 27" Wide(16:9) on OSD captured screen.
Report back if the latest version is not working. If possible share Xbox series S/W version also."
Attached you will find the latest FW - let us know how it goes 😊

Hello
I updated the firmware with the file you attached, however, the problem persists.
I made a video so that the problem can be analyzed and where the xbox version can be seen.
I would appreciate indicating the monitor configuration to be able to play 1440px and 120hz
here the video:

I have the Odyssey 5g 27inch curved using the stock series X hdmi. What I had to do to allow 1440p @120 in my Xbox settings was go into the monitor settings and change the refresh to 120hz in that monitor menu pictured. In those pictures refresh is only set to 100. If the monitor isn't set to 120hz then the Xbox won't recognize 120hz as an option at all for 1440p. As for the "freesync" option mine was locked until I was all set up for 1440p@120hz. Then the Xbox settings had to be set to VRR enabled (variable refresh rate) and now I can simply turn on and off freesync on the monitor at will. I thought mine was broken at first but it just took some setting up. I hope this helps. Let me know.
Also a side note if you're playing games like MW2 or MW3 then you also need to go into the game settings itself and turn on 120hz refresh in the game menu settings or you won't get 120refresh.

Hopefully this helps yall or helps someone out there lol it's what worked for me. I don't even have a setting for 100hz so maybe you have a different monitor? Mine is the Odyssey g5 27inch
